A Run From The Law Costs A Man His Life

HOUSTON (AP) — A suspect in a Houston-area drug case has died after the stolen SUV he was driving rolled during a police chase.  

The Harris County Sheriff's Office says the suspect was dead at the scene early Friday. The vehicle ended up on its roof following an 8-mile pursuit.

Authorities did not immediately release the name of the man who allegedly sold drugs to an undercover Houston police officer before the chase began.

Officials say the driver was ejected when the SUV went out of control and overturned. The suspect was alone in the vehicle.
