Wheelchair Used In Church Burglary
BRYAN, Texas (AP) — A 53-year-old man is held on $5,000 bond in Bryan after police say he broke into a church and used a wheelchair taken from there to haul off some electronics.
James Roger Taylor was spotted after police got a call Saturday about a man wheeling a chair filled with items.
The Eagle of Bryan-College Station (http://bit.ly/1Q5Kihj ) reports police say Taylor denied knowing about the three microphones, two speakers and a wireless router in the chair but he had blood and what looked like dried paint on his hands.
Officers found a broken stained glass window and window sill at the Greater Tabernacle Baptist Church. A church official confirmed the chair and electronics belonged to the church.
Taylor is charged with burglary and could get two years in jail if convicted.
