DALLAS (AP) — Several protesters have been arrested during Texas demonstrations by people angry over the election of Republican Donald Trump for president.

Some demonstrators Thursday night in Dallas carried signs saying "Stop Trump." Officials say more than 200 people marched to Dealey Plaza to protest Tuesday's results. Dallas police say three people were arrested.

Houston police arrested five anti-Trump demonstrators during a downtown protest Thursday. Texas troopers in Austin detained two demonstrators on the grounds of the Capitol.

Some minority students at Plano East Senior High School complained after a chalk drawing of a wall was scrawled on the ground of a breezeway. Nearby captions said: "Build that wall" and "Can't Stop Trump." Trump has suggested building a wall along the U.S. border with Mexico.

Administrators have increased campus security.
