Tip A Cop for Special Olympics

San Angelo & Abilene Police will help Special Olympians during Tip A Cop Night on Thursday, July 21st!

Local police officers and Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) members from the Abilene and San Angelo area will trade in their handcuffs for serving aprons at the annual Tip A Cop Night, being held at Texas Roadhouse, located at 1381 S. Danville Rd. in Abilene and 3057 W. Loop 306 in San Angelo on Thursday, July 21.

From 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., officers will serve tables and collect tips, which will be turned in as donations to Special Olympics Texas at the end of the dinner shift.

Everyone is encouraged to dine at any of the two participating Texas Roadhouse locations and ‘Tip A Cop’ for his/her dedicated effort to support SOTX athletes. All tips will go toward providing SOTX programming for more than 1,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities in the this area.
