Three Arrested by San Angelo Police for Possession of a Controlled Substance

On Tuesday, May 12, 2015, the San Angelo Police Department Narcotics Division obtained a Search and Arrest Warrant for Jon Escobedo and his residence located in the 2000 block of Raney. Escobedo was located driving in the area and a traffic stop was made on the vehicle by members of the Special Operations unit. Angel Enriquez, was also in the vehicle. Enriquez was found to be in possession of approximately 26 grams of a substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine.

During the execution of the Search Warrant at Escobedo’s residence, Andrea Pedroza, was located inside. During the search of the residence a quantity of a substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine was located as well as an assault rifle.

All three suspects were transported to the Tom Green County Jail.  Escobedo was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance less than one gram and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. Pedroza was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance less than one gram and warrants. Enriquez was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance greater than 4 grams but less than 200 grams and Possession of Marijuana less than 2 ounces.
