Christoval VFD Invites You to the 2015 Firecracker 5K and Fun Run and Walk

The Christoval Volunteer Fire Department is taking registrations now for their Firecracker 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run and Walk Saturday, July 4th.

I interviewed Jimmy Barton with the VFD on the Kickin' Wake-Up Call and he filled us in on the activities which starts with the 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run and Walk. You can register the day of the race, but Jimmy explained why you should get registered now. The races are for all ages with an awards ceremony.

There is also a delicious BBQ lunch being served from 11 am - 2 pm at the Christoval Community Center Downtown, and take-out will also be available. You can even buy the BBQ by the pound.

You don't have to participate in the Run/Walk to enjoy the BBQ plates with all of the trimmings for just $10 which benefits the Christoval Volunteer Fire Department.
