EAST BERNARD, Texas (AP) — Two boys have been charged with breaking into their Southeast Texas school and stealing more than $250,000 worth of iPads and laptops.

KHOU-TV (http://bit.ly/1L8fdsz ) reported Wednesday that Wharton County sheriff's deputies say the teens tried to sell a stolen laptop but the potential buyer contacted officers.

Surveillance video shows two suspects wore masks during this month's burglary at a high school, middle and elementary schools in the East Bernard Independent School District, 40 miles southwest of Houston.

Sgt. Joe Ray Jones says school security video posted to social media led to tips. The boys — ages 15 and 16 — were arrested on juvenile burglary, theft and criminal mischief charges. More than 100 electronic devices were recovered.

Names of the minors and further details on custody haven't been released.
