The ASU-SBDC (Angelo State University Small Business Development Center) will be hosting 2 seminars next Tuesday and Thursday.

The training event “Basics of Business Entities: How to Choose the Right Legal Structure for Your Business” will be on uesday, May 26 at 6:00p.m. for $15.00.

At this seminar you will learn the basics of the different types of legal structures and how you can compare them. They will cover what you need to consider such as liability, taxes, duration, complexity, and costs of the different legal structures to help you make the best decision for your business. Learn how to protect your personal assets and learn the tax and legal attributes of each structure, and much more, presented by Attorney Sam Allen of Jackson Walker, LLP.

The ASU-SBDC and The Downtown San Angelo Inc. have teamed up to provide entrepreneurs and business owners an informative speaker series called the Downtown Merchant Series.

The first event of the series will take place on Thursday, May 28th, from 6:00pm – 8:30 p.m. at the Business Resource Center (69 North Chadbourne St.) and the topic is “Improving Cash Flow.”

Managing your cash flow can be tricky! At this training event we will help you better understand how to maximize your cash flow and keep a steady flow moving in and out of your business. We will cover various topics, and key terms to help you manage your cash flow such as: fixed & variable costs, contribution margin, and your break-even point.
