7/16/16 @02:14 a.m., Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of W. Avenue R for the report of an unwanted subject.  Officers met with the complainant who said a subject named Adam Pounds was just at her residence banging on the windows and door.  Pounds had a prior Criminal Trespass Warning at the property.  During the call, and by coincidence, Officers located 27-year-old Pounds driving on the wrong side of the road around S. Chadbourne and Avenue Q.  Officers stopped his vehicle at S. Chadbourne and Avenue L.  Officers made contact with Pounds, who appeared to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.  During the DWI investigation, the Officer learned Pounds was the suspect of the Unwanted Subject call on Avenue R.  Sgt. Juarez with the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office responded (Acting as a STEP/DWI Unit) to conduct the DWI Investigation.  Pounds was arrested for DWI and issued citations for Fail to maintain financial responsibility (unconfirmed insurance), Expired registration (11/2015), Driving while license invalid, and Driving on the wrong side of the roadway.

07/16/16 @4:29 a.m., Officers responded to the 1900 block of Rainey for the report of a domestic disturbance.  Officers met with the victim and suspect (spouses).  After the investigation, James Marsh was arrested for Assault by Contact Family Violence.

07/16/16 @9:03 a.m., Officers were dispatched to the unit block of W. 19th for a domestic disturbance with only the victim, a 33-year-old man present.  The victim advised he was assaulted by his mother, Lucia Estrada.  While investigating, 59-year-old Lucia Estrada arrived at the scene.  Estrada was arrested for Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family Violence.

Just after 6PM Saturday, Officers were sent to the intersection of Raney and Howard for an assault.  The victim, a 37-year-old male, was found injured and sitting on the curb, surrounded by a group of people.  The victim had been assaulted with a baseball bat by a female.  Several witnesses advised Officers that the suspect(s) may have fled the scene in a maroon or white vehicle (both color vehicles seen leaving the scene after the assault).  The victim was transported to Shannon Medical Center for treatment.  Officers learned the identity of possible suspects who assaulted the victim and attempted to locate them.  Parties present during the assault were located at a residence in the 2500 block of Atlas.  A Detective was called out to Atlas and at the conclusion of the investigation, Ashlee Coffee DOB 5/1/1991, was arrested for Aggravated Assault with/Deadly Weapon.  The bat used in the assault was located and seized as evidence.

07/16/16 @7:44 p.m., Officers responded to a residence in the 800 block of Shiloh for the report of a domestic disturbance/assault that occurred.  Officers met with a 34-year-old female who had visible injuries to her face.  Officers learned that the suspect, 32-year-old Damon Huckabee, left prior to their arrival and that he may have firearms with him.  During the investigation, the suspect was seen driving by the scene, twice.  An Officer relayed the suspect’s vehicle description and direction of travel and responding Officers were able to conduct a traffic stop on Huckabee at Glenna and Woodlawn.  Officers located two handguns and a rifle inside the vehicle.  Subsequent to the investigation, Huckabee was arrested for Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family Violence.

07/16/16 @10:25 p.m., Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of E 24th for a subject trying to gain entry to a residence.  Further information came in that the subject had entered the residence through a window.  Officers arrived and located the suspect inside a bedroom.  The man gave Officers a fake name but was eventually identified as 28-year-old Juan Gonzales.  During the investigation, Officers learned Gonzales’ 26-year-old girlfriend had gone to stay the night at the residence on E 24th to get away from Gonzales due to a verbal argument they had earlier in the day.  No assaults occurred inside the residence, but Gonzales was arrested for Criminal Trespass of a Habitation, Fail to Identify as a Fugitive from Justice, and his 11 outstanding Arrest Warrants (10 City, 1 County).

07/16/16 @11:35 p.m., Police conducted a traffic stop on a Vehicle at Spaulding and Buchanan.  The driver, 45-year-old James Edward Pittman II, was found to have a suspended Driver’s License.  Pittman was arrested for Driving While License Invalid.  Three female occupants were asked to exit the vehicle.  K9 Vader stopped by the scene, conducted an exterior “sniff” of the vehicle, and alerted to the presence of narcotics.  Officers conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle and located a black pouch containing a glass pipe and a clear plastic baggy with residue underneath the seat where a 29-year-old female passenger was seated.  The passenger was identified as Samantha Karadimas.  Karadimas was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Two other female passengers were released from the scene.

07/17/16 just before 1:00 a.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle in the area of Hillside Drive and Gun Club Rd.  The Driver was found to be playing Pokemon Go.  No citations issued.

07/17/16 @1:24 a.m., Officers were dispatched to an apartment at 212 Koberlin for an unknown problem.  Officers arrived and made contact with a 21-year-old female who told Officers her boyfriend, 18year-old Demarcus D. Greenwood, assaulted her.  Officers located Greenwood inside the apartment.  Officers investigated the call and confirmed the victim attempted to call 911 earlier but Greenwood took the phone from her before she could give her apartment number.  When she called again, she was finally able to tell Dispatch her apartment number before Greenwood took the phone, threw it against a wall and prevented her from leaving the apartment.  Subsequent to the investigation, Officers arrested Greenwood for an Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family Violence, Unlawful Restraint, Interfere with Emergency Request for Assistance, and an outstanding City Warrant.

07/17/16 @2:50 a.m., Officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Raney St. for the report of Domestic Assault.  Both subjects were determined to be involved in a mutual assault and were taken into custody.  48YO HERNANDEZ, BELINDA CANTU & 50 YO HERNANDEZ, ERNEST

07/17/16 @11:22 p.m., Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of North Pope in reference to a domestic disturbance/assault in progress. Officers arrived and located a female victim who had been assaulted by her boyfriend, who also attempted to stab her with a knife.  During the altercation, the victim received a small puncture wound to her index finger.  The suspect, identified as 37-year-old Edward Gutierrez, left prior to police arrival but was located a short time later at the Stripes store, 1733 Pulliam.  An Investigator was called out and subsequent to their field investigation, Gutierrez was charged with Assault Family Violence Causing Bodily Injury Family Violence.
