Good news! September rainfall figures are out, and show San Angelo picked up 5.24 inches of the wet stuff. That gives us a total of 30.76 inches for the year or more than 10 inches ahead of last year at this time.

Now for the bad news: the Climate Prediction Center, is predicting drier than normal conditions for the last 3 months of the year.

Still overall, we're 14.23 inches ahead of where we should be for this time of the year.

2017, is on track to be one of the wettest years in a while. That's something to be happy about.
