San Angelo man, James Casey, has been arrested and charged with Aggravated Robbery after threatening a victim with a box cutter.

This past Saturday, July 25th, a robbery occurred at EZ Pawn. A 34 year old female told officers that after shopping at the store, she exited the building, and observed a man enter her vehicle and begin to take items. When she intervened and attempted to retrieve her stolen items, the man held out a box cutter and threatened her. Luckily she was able to give a description of the thief as well as a license plate number.

During the police officer's investigation, the suspect was identified at James Casey. After several attempts to locate Mr. Casey, Officers Gesch and Fisher finally found him in the lobby of Motel 6 on S. Bryant. Officers found the victims property and the box cutter in the vehicle the victim had described.
