This will be ASU’s student Wind Ensemble’s final concert of the 2019 fall semester. Titled ‘Christmas Alterations,’ the free concert offers a musical program that features classic Christmas favorites...with a twist!

Christmas at Old Fort Concho transforms the entire fort into a winter wonderland. Visitors can experience Christmas shopping with numerous merchants and artisans from across Texas and the Southwest. COMMUNITY TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY AND CHRISTMAS PARADE 

Dec 7th  – 5:15 pm 

South Chadbourne and Concho Ave. 

The Concho Christmas Celebration will hold its annual Community Tree Lighting Ceremony at the corner of South Chadbourne & Concho Ave starting at 5:15 pm. The ceremony is free and open to all and will include performances by the San Angelo Community Band & the Twin Mountain Tonesmen. The tree Lighting is the kick-off for the Tour of Lights and is immediately followed by the Lights of Christmas Parade downtown at 6 pm. 

 

26TH ANNUAL CONCHO CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION TOUR OF LIGHTS 

Dec 7th - Dec 31st 

Along the banks of the Concho River 

‘The Tour Of Lights’ takes you on a 2.5 mile holiday drive along the banks of the Concho River and features over three million lights. The displays are beautiful and based on the 12 Days Of Christmas! 

 

GREATER SAN ANGELO CRAFTS GUILD WINTER CRAFT FAIR 

Dec. 7th - 9:00 am – 5:00 pm 

4400 Grape Creek Rd, San Angelo 

Local artist and vendors will have handmade items for sale. You’ll find wonderful and unique items for Holiday gift giving and yourself. There will be paintings, baby items, quilts, wood carvings, candies and much more. Entry is free with hourly raffles for prizes. 2019 WEST TEXAS SHOOTOUT HOCKEY TOURNAMENT

Bring the whole family out for the annual West Texas Shootout Roller Hockey Invitational Tournament. Hockey Clubs from across the State will be here for live hockey action both days ending with the Championship Match Sunday at 1 pm. The event is free and all ages are welcome to come out.

The San Angelo Bicycle Association invites you to ride with Santa through the Christmas Lights on the Concho River. Meet at the San Angelo YMCA Parking Lot located at 353 S. Randolph at 4:30 pm. Riders will leave at 5:30 along with walkers, skaters and tricycles led by Santa & Mrs. Clause. After the ride, enjoy cookies and hot chocolate.

ELF ON A TRAIL

San Angelo State Park 

Come out and help the park rangers find all the Elf’s on the Trail and see what they are up to in the weeks leading up to Christmas. Meet at Chaparral Pavilion on the South Side Entrance at 10 am.
