Organ Donation Month Ceremony at Shannon

Shannon Medical Center and the Texas Organ Sharing Alliance (TOSA) will hold a special Flag Raising Ceremony, Tuesday, April 19, from 11 am to noon at the flag pole near the front entrance of the hospital, 120 E. Harris.

The ceremony will honor organ, eye and tissue donors. The public is invited to attend.

A local family touched by the gift of organ donation will share their story during the ceremony. Cake will be served afterward on the second floor of the hospital above the main entrance.
