ABILENE, Texas (AP) — A convicted sex offender faces up to 10 years in federal prison for raping two West Texas girls he met online and transported to his Fort Worth home.

Robert Blaine Harris pleaded guilty Tuesday in Abilene to enticement of a minor and aiding and abetting, in a plea agreement.

Prosecutors say the 50-year-old Harris in December began an online relationship with a 13-year-old girl from Abilene. Harris in January traveled to Abilene and picked up that minor, plus another 13-year-old girl.

Investigators say Harris had sex with both girls during the week the children were at his residence before the teens were located by Fort Worth police.

Harris originally was charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child and kidnapping.

Records show Harris has previous convictions for indecent assault.
