HOUSTON (AP) — A man has been arrested on suspicion of stabbing his wife and in-laws during an argument in northwest Harris County.

Houston media outlets report the suspect is facing three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Authorities say they responded to a domestic violence call Sunday morning. Police say a man had stabbed his wife and her mother and father.

The suspect's wife was flown to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition. Her parents were taken to another hospital. Their conditions are unknown.

Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman said the wife had been staying with her parents since Saturday following "some domestic issues."
