STEAM is an acronym for science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics.

The San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts is partnering with Angelo State University, San Angelo Independent School District and the local chapter of the Texas Alliance for Minorities in Engineering. This partnership will bring science to the art museum, for a fun environmental event the whole family can learn from.

Family Day STEAM, will be held Saturday, August 13th, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Art Museum, located at 1 Love Street. This free event should be a fun way to problem-solve, engage in experiential learning, while embracing collaboration and work through a creative process. Proving that science and art can be best friends.
