LONGVIEW, Texas (AP) — Three relatives have been arrested and $1 million confiscated in a crackdown on an alleged East Texas synthetic marijuana trafficking ring.

Federal prosecutors also say several Longview businesses were raided.

Gregg County jail records show 39-year-old Jeremy Chad Tidwell of Gilmer was being held without bond Thursday. His wife, 36-year-old Shanna Peek Tidwell of Gilmer, and his 42-year-old brother, Brian Tidwell of Arlington, were also arrested Wednesday.

They're charged with conspiracy to offer for sale misbranded or altered drugs, conspiracy to sell drug paraphernalia, conspiracy to launder money and conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute synthetic drugs containing controlled substances.

Online jail records don't list an attorney for Jeremy Tidwell or custody details for his wife and brother. All were indicted Nov. 12.
