Early Voting for Primary Election Ends Friday, 2/26

Election Day is quickly approaching for the Texas primary on March 1, and early voting is underway. A record 14.2 million voters are now registered in Texas.

Secretary of State Carlos Cascos and Vote Texas want to ensure that all Texas voters have all the appropriate information to cast their ballots. Let's make sure every Texan knows when, where and how to vote.

• Early voting ends on Friday, February 26
• Primary Election Day is Tuesday, March 1
• All potential voters must have a valid ID to vote. Many Texans already have an approved photo ID.
• Approved photo IDs include:
  o   Texas driver license
  o   Texas identification card
  o   Texas license to carry a handgun
  o   U.S. passport
  o   U.S. military ID
  o   Citizenship certificate
  o   Or an election identification certificate
