The 1st Bronteoberfest is this Saturday and you'll want to be there!

A barbeque cookoff will feature competition cooking in chicken, pork spare ribs, brisket and dessert for $100.00 per team. Cash prizes will be awarded.

Enjoy beer tasting, lots of food, and live music from 2-8pm at the Kickapoo Creek Lodge in downtown Bronte. Featured performers are Matt Lopez, The Ice House Band, Jessi England, Kramer LaBarge, Bo Brumble and Brandon Fulton.

Arts and crafts will be featured throughout the downtown area from 10am-7pm.

A goat roping will be held at 1:30 at the Bronte Baseball Field. This is a "horseless"
roping, so leave the horse at home. There are categories for all ages.

The day wraps up with a big dance at the Park Pavilion from 9-Midnight with Whiskey Skyline & Dolly Shine! Tickets at the gate are $10.00 with a $5.00 cooler fee. No glass is allowed.

All proceeds benefit the "Save the Park" restoration project, and you can get more information at https://www.facebook.com/bronteoberfest?fref=ts.
