April is Child Abuse Prevention Month

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and the Children's Advocacy Center urges the community to take a stand against child abuse and neglect. Join them throughout the month of April and show your support.

Upcoming events:

April 22, 29: Blue Friday. Show your support by wearing blue every Friday throughout April. Blue is the national color for child abuse prevention. Send pictures of your organization/business wearing blue to leann@cactomgreen.org for posting on social media.

April 24: Blue Sunday is designated as a day of prayer to end child abuse in our community and across the nation.

The CAC is a non-profit agency that offers hope and healing for abused and neglected children through four programs: Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Hope House, Family Enrichment Services and Child Fatality Review Team.
