What are your financial statements saying about your business’s health? Learn how to understand your financial statements and how to use them to determine how you can make changes to increase profits and overall success. Attendees will learn how to read basic financial statement formats such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in addition to analysis tools such as break-even points and ratio analysis to learn more about their business.

The ASU-SBDC (Angelo State University Small Business Development Center) will host the training event “Sales Tax Basics: "Do I Have to Collect Sales Tax?" on Wednesday, November 4th at 11:30am at the Mason Chamber of Commerce, located at 108 Fort McKavitt St. This is a free seminar.

Topics covered will include completing tax returns, what is or isn’t taxable, your responsibilities as a taxpayer, Comptroller services and publications. There will be a question and answer session. This seminar will help the taxpayer gain the knowledge to collect and accurately report the state sales tax and to maintain required records.
