Tom Green County 4-H will be hosting a FREE, hands-on science experiment for grades 1-12.  This FREE event promotes skills in the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) area.

This year, the 4-H National Science Experiment will be – “Drone Discovery”.   Drone Discovery was developed by Cornell University Cooperative Extension.  It is a hands-on engineering design challenge that explores the science behind drones and how they are being used to solve real world problems.  Please note that due to space and safety concerns, there will not be a real drone at this event.  Students will learn the science and engineering concepts behind drone technology.

Members of Tom Green County 4-H will give a short presentation about drones and flight principals and then direct a hands-on experiment where kids will apply what they have learned.
