Two Dead After Drug Deal Goes Bad
DALLAS (AP) — Dallas police say two men have been fatally shot when one allegedly attempted to rob the other during a drug deal.
Police had no immediate arrests following the gunfire early Monday.
A police statement says 19-year-old Derek Jordan was found dead near the entrance to a Dallas apartment complex.
Police minutes later located a wounded 19-year-old man a few blocks away near another complex. That man was transported to a hospital, where he died. His name wasn't immediately released.
Police say it appears both teens were involved in a drug deal at the first location. Police say there was an exchange of gunfire when Jordan and an accomplice attempted to rob the other teen and a witness.
Police didn't immediately release additional information on the investigation.
