Ticket prices to Friday night’s River Fest concert headlined by Los Palominos have been dropped to $10. Admission will be free for children 10 and younger. Saturday Night's Texas Music Concert will be free admission for all ages!
Tickets can be purchased in advance at cosatx.us/tickets or at any of the City’s five outlets:

  • Pinkie’s Liquor Store, 1415 S. Bryant Blvd.
  • Barbed Wire and Roses, Sunset Mall, 4001 Sunset Drive.
  • Goodfellow Air Force Base, Event Center Information, Tickets & Tours Office.

A Tejano band from Uvalde, Los Palominos’ repertoir includes polka, rancheras, boleros, ballads and cumbias. Their hits include “Eres Lo Que Mas Quiero” and “Corazon De Crystal.” Los Palominos’ latest album, released last year, is “Siente El Amor.”

Gates to the RiverStage, 16 E. Avenue A, open at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19. The music begins at 7 p.m.

The concert will kick off the Stripes River Fest 2014. The festivities, most of which are along the Concho River downtown, continue Saturday, Sept. 20. They include a Color Up 5K, a washer-pitching tournament, a kids court, the first Glow on the Concho and the annual Lily Fest in Civic League Park. River Fest’s Texas country music concert Saturday night will be a free show.

The concert at the Bill Aylor Sr. Memorial RiverStage, headlined by the Judson Cole Band and featuring Whiskey Skyline, Cory Michael and Chris Brazeal, will cap the Stripes River Fest 2014.

Food, drink and alcoholic beverage concessions will be available for sale at the concert. Food or drinks may not be brought into the venue. Gates to the RiverStage, 16 E. Avenue A, open at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20. The music begins at 7 p.m.
