Texas Man Dies In New Mexico Traffic Accident

FORT SUMNER, N.M. (AP) — Authorities say a 26-year-old Texas man was killed when he lost control of his vehicle and it overturned on a highway in eastern New Mexico.

The New Mexico State Police say the accident that killed Jerry Davis of Plainview, Texas, and injured four other people occurred Sunday on U.S. 60/84 east of Fort Sumner.

Cause of the crash is under investigation.
