A former political consultant who worked in Lubbock, and is now an adult entertainer in Oklahoma, has filed for a restraining order against an elected official.  Cyndi Ortiz filed for the request against State Senator Charles Perry (R- Lubbock) in Creek County, Oklahoma earlier this month.

During the early afternoon on Tuesday, the Associated Press reported that the Creek County clerk stated the order couldn't be released since it had not yet been served.

Jordan Berry, a spokesman for Senator Perry provided the following statement to KFYO News:

Charles Perry has been falsely accused of malicious allegations by a single individual since taking office. Charles has appropriately reported this and turned over evidence to local authorities as the situation has progressed during the last couple of years. We hope that this individual receives treatment and stops her harassment of the Perry family. We note that she has refused to show any evidence of her claims.

Lubbock County District Attorney Matt Powell told KAMC News that he has talked to the Texas Rangers and asked them to conduct an investigation to find out if any crime has been committed against Senator Perry.

Jordan Berry appeared on Pratt on Texas on Tuesday afternoon (May 12) to refute the "false allegations" made against Senator Perry. You can listen to Robert Pratt's exclusive interview with him below.
