Shannon Community Blood Drive

Summer is the most difficult time of the year for United Blood Services to maintain an adequate supply of blood to save lives. With school out, and vacations in full swing, donations are down. O Negative is very low, and donations are urgently needed.

You can donate at Shannon Medical Center's 2nd Floor Legacy Room from 9-6:30 this Wednesday and Thursday.

All donors get a choice of 2 movie passes or a $10.00 Starbucks Gift Certificate or a $10.00 Shannon Gift Shop Gift Certificate.

You can make your appointment by calling the United Blood Services Customer Center at 877-827-4376, or go online to www.bloodhero.com and enter the sponsor code shannon.

Donors must be at least 16 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health to donate. Donors between 16 and 22 must meet additional height and weight requirements. 16 year old donors must provide a Minor Donor Permit Form signed by a parent or guardian. You can find that form at www.unitedbloodservices.org.
