Search Underway For Identity Of Body Found In Junk Yard

HOUSTON (AP) — Houston police are trying to identify a body discovered in a junkyard by some people searching for scrap metal.

Autopsy results were pending Friday. Police are investigating the death as a homicide.

Police say the remains were found Thursday by two people scrounging for scrap metal. The body did not have identification.

Police didn't immediately release details on the possible age or gender of the person.
