San Angelo Symphony’s July 3rd Concert
The San Angelo Symphony July 3rd Pops concert will take place Monday, July 3rd, at the Bill Aylor Sr. Memorial River Stage located on the banks of the Concho River at 16 E. Avenue A.courtesySanAngeloSymphony
The gates will open at 12:00 pm; the Community Band will begin at 7:00 pm, followed by the San Angelo Symphony at 8:30 pm.
The free event, held annually is entering its 30th year, and continues to unite this community in a patriotic celebration to honor our military, our leaders, and our country. This concert, which draws more than 35,000 in attendance, is now the 4th largest in the state of Texas.
The July 3rd Pops Concert features military pageantry including the historic cannons of Fort Concho, the men and women of Goodfellow Air Force Base, symphonic songs of celebration performed by Maestro Hector Guzman and the San Angelo Symphony, and a Fireworks Extravaganza sponsored by Mayfield Paper Company.
