Tuesday, members of the San Angelo Police Department’s Intelligence Division served a Search Warrant at a residence in the 3200 block of Webster Street.

During the execution of the Search Warrant, Police Service Dog Duke was utilized and he indicated to the presence of narcotics inside the residence, which led Officers to locate and confiscate approximately one (1) lb. of methamphetamine and approximately fourteen (14) grams of heroin. In addition to the narcotics, Officers located drug paraphernalia, currency, and seized a vehicle.

The suspect named in the warrant, Gregory Dion Garivay, was located driving a 2001 white Chevrolet Camaro at Knickerbocker and Loop 306.  Garivay was taken into custody without incident.

At the time the Search Warrant was executed, Bianca Estelle Gutierrez was inside the residence and detained pending the outcome of the investigation.

At the conclusion of the investigation, Garivay and Gutierrez were charged with Manufacture Delivery of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 (4g-200g) and Manufacture Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 (400g).  Garivay was also charged on an outstanding Parole Violation Warrant.
