If you have a  rainwater harvesting system, your tanks should be overflowing with the wonderful rain. However, if you don’t have a system, it’s never too late to get one set up.

At this month’s Lunch ‘n’ Learn Gardening Seminar, Allison Watkins, AgriLife Extension Horticulturist, will be talking about how to set up a rainwater harvesting system that fits your needs. She will show the benefits and how to figure what size tank you’ll need.

The class is this Friday, June 19th, from noon to 1 p.m. Bring your questions about your landscape challenges, too. The class will be held in the Commissioners’ Court on the second floor of the Edd B. Keys building, 113 W. Beauregard. Cost is only $5 per class. Bring your lunch. It's also the last chance to pick up your free giant pumpkin and sunflower seeds at this seminar.

The proceeds from the classes will go to The People/Plant Connection build the Children’s Adventure Garden in Padron Park.
