Radio Controlled Airplanes Take Over the San Angelo Coliseum

The 8th annual TINY indoor Radio control plane fly-in runs this Saturday and Sunday at the Coliseum. Angelo RC, INC. sponsors flying for pilots from all over the country with no charge for public to come out and watch.

The fun starts Saturday morning at 9 AM with planes taking to the air for freestyle flying. Each plane must weigh under one pound.

During the day there will several fun events for the pilots and audience including a Balloon Bust. Up to 30 pilots with their planes will take off and aim their plans of 6 strings of helium filled balloons trying to pop each of the 25 to 30 balloons hovering over the coliseum floor.

Another event taking place on Saturday and Sunday will be “Last Plane in the Air”

Saturday Evening starting at 7 PM will feature Contest for individual pilots and planes in a Freestyle contest.
