Pool Party Turns Deadly

HOUSTON (AP) — Houston police are looking for a gunman after one person was killed and another wounded in a fight during a pool party at a community center.

Police on Monday identified the man who died as 21-year-old Ernest Moore. Investigators say a woman was shot in the leg and hospitalized in serious condition.

Houston police say an argument broke out early Sunday at the Chancellors Family Center. Authorities say Moore became involved in a fistfight and was shot while attempting to leave. Moore was dead at the scene. The suspect fled after also shooting the woman.

Authorities did not immediately say what prompted the argument.
