SAN ANGELO, Texas (AP) — Police say a 12-year-old girl was killed and three other people were injured in a West Texas all-terrain vehicle crash.

The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office reports that the crash happened Saturday evening near San Angelo.

Authorities report that 12-year-old Anayavilet Almazan of Midland was driving the ATV with seven passengers. Witnesses tell police Almazan lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll over.

She was pronounced dead at Shannon Hospital. An adult passenger and two children were also taken to the hospital. Their conditions are unknown.

Authorities are investigating the crash.
