HOUSTON (AP) — A giraffe has been born at the Houston Zoo, bringing the zoo's total of Masai giraffes to 10.

According to zoo officials, a giraffe named Asali gave birth to a girl shortly before 7:45 p.m. Monday. The baby giraffe has not been named, but the zoo says she should have a name when she is revealed to the public in a few days.
