Infant Dies While At Day Care Center

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) — Corpus Christi police say a baby has died after becoming unresponsive while at a home day care center.

Police on Monday responded to a call about an infant girl experiencing health problems at a residence that's a licensed child care facility.

The baby was transported to a Corpus Christi hospital, where she was declared dead. An autopsy has been ordered.

The name of the child wasn't immediately released.
