With Spring in full tilt, and hopefully the rain eases up just a tad, that means Spring Cleaning time, and not just airing out the house. It's tome to get all those chores around the house done, those to-do items checked off, and to spruce up your home for the summer time.

Habitat for Humanity's ReStore is an amazing place to pick up everything that you need for your to-do lists, your DIY projects, and whatever else you might have up your sleeve. Saturday, May 30th, 401 N. Chadbourne, 8:30 until 11:30, there will be doors, windows, commodes, light fixtures, sinks, and large blinds for $5.00 apiece. Mini blinds are $1.00 each, and you can get a gallon of paint for just a buck.

The ReStore inside the Habitat warehouse has shelves that are stocked with new and used building materials that are sold at a discount. This events serves a couple of purposes. It helps people who need to make renovations on their homes available at affordable prices. It also allows Habitat for Humanity to continue funding thoer active building program that creates affordable housing for families in need of a roof over their heads.

The dedicated volunteers from Tom Green County CSCD will help you carry your purchases to your vehicle, and also like to thank areas residents, who have remodeled, and local businesses that donate the new and used surplus building materials to the ReStore year round.
