In the midst of falling crude oil prices, the price at the pump is dropping as well.

According to this week's AAA Texas Gas Watch, the price of regular unleaded gas is coming down in both Texas and the rest of the nation.

In Texas, the average price for regular unleaded is now $1.65 per gallon, down seven cents from last week. The nationwide average is down eight cents this week to $1.86 per gallon.

According to AAA Texas, of the cities surveyed, Texarkana has the cheapest gasoline in the Lone Star State this week with an average of $1.59 per gallon. Drivers in El Paso are paying the most in Texas at $1.71 per gallon.

Falling crude oil prices have contributed to gas prices dropping to their lowest mark since February 2009, according to AAA experts. According to CNBC, West Texas Intermediate rallied on Thursday, closing at $29.53 per barrel, up 4.2 percent from Wednesday.
