The San Angelo Parks & Recreation Dept. continues its free Movie in the Park series on Saturday, Oct. 22, with a showing of Disney Pixar “Monsters, Inc.”

The movie starts at sundown at Kirby Park, 1400 Edmund Blvd. Families are invited to bring blankets, lawn chairs and refreshments. Glass containers are not allowed in City parks and pets must be leashed. Food trucks, free pumpkin and face painting, bounce houses, and dog adoptions all available beginning at 4pm. Movie will begin at sundown!

Monsters Incorporated is the largest scare factory in the monster world, and James P. Sullivan (John Goodman) is one of its top scarers. Sullivan is a huge, intimidating monster with blue fur, large purple spots and horns. His scare assistant,best friend and roommate is Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal), a green, opinionated, feisty little one-eyed monster. Visiting from the human world is Boo (Mary Gibbs), a tiny girl who goes where no human has ever gone before.
