Cyber Texas Job Fair
The demand for cyber security professionals continues unabated. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics there are hundreds of thousands of these unfilled positions across the country.
In an effort to reduce that employment gap and connect cyber security professionals and students with employers CyberSecJob.com and ClearedJobs.Net are hosting the CyberTexas Job Fair in San Antonio.
The CyberTexas Job Fair is August 1 from 3pm to 7pm at the Marriott Courtyard, 11605 State Highway 151. The job fair features national and local employers filling cyber security positions including Abacus, Air Force Civilian Service, Ball Aerospace, Booz Allen, IPSecure, Lockheed Martin, NSA and more.
“The shortage of talented cyber security professionals has never been higher,” said Kathleen Smith of ClearedJobs.Net and CyberSecJobs.com. “Job fairs are an effective tool to close the gap of unfilled cyber security positions. We survey the companies attending our job fairs and consistently over 90% of them successfully hire talent they meet at the event.”
What makes this hiring event unique is that it is open to cleared and non-cleared cyber security professionals as well as students in college-level cyber degree programs. Registration for the CyberTexas Job Fair is free for all cyber security job seekers. Along with the opportunity to meet with recruiters, candidates can take part in these additional career search activities:
