Angelo State University will observe Constitution Day with various activities designed to further the campus community’s knowledge of the U.S. Constitution and citizens’ rights and responsibilities on Wednesday, Sept. 17, in the Houston Harte University Center, 1910 Rosemont Dr.Activities will begin at 10 a.m. in the University Center lobby and are also open free to the public. ASU’s Veterans Educational and Transitional Services (VETS) Center, Student Affairs Office and Student Government Association will host a reading of the Constitution and will hand out free pocket-sized copies of the historical document. The Tom Green County Elections Office will have a table set up for voter registration.

Elsewhere on campus, staff from the ASU Office of Housing and Residential Programs will offer rides in a patriotically decorated limo golf cart to students walking along the campus mall. The students will be presented with Constitution-related trivia and other questions about the U.S. government, and their rides will continue as long as they can answer correctly.
