The ASU-SBDC (Angelo State University Small Business Development Center) will host the training event “Understanding Financial Statements” Tuesday, May 5, at 6:00p.m. for $15.00.

What are your financial statements saying about your business’s health? Learn how to understand your financial statements and how to use them to determine how you can make changes to increase profits and overall success. Attendees will learn how to read basic financial statement formats such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in addition to analysis tools such as breakeven points and ratio analysis to learn more about their business.

The ASU-SBDC will also host the training series “QuickBooks 4 Part Series” beginning Monday, May 11, at 3:00p.m. for $150.00.

Their QuickBooks series is a great opportunity for those of you looking to learn more about the program. The QuickBooks Series consists of four face to face, hands on seminars.

This seminar is perfect for beginners who want to get a basic understanding of the program and how it operates. It also makes for an excellent refresher course for those who are already skilled in QuickBooks. In this open classroom setting we provide hands on training and skills. Each participant is issued a computer and a guidebook to work through different lessons with your instructor. Keep in mind basic computer skills are required.
