The 61st Annual Cinch Roping Fiesta is set for this Friday-Sunday at the San Angelo Fairgrounds. As one of the largest economic impact events for San Angelo, it draws over 6,500 spectators and approximately 400 contestants and their families for the three day event.

Tickets are available only at the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo Association office located at 200 West 43rd St., or by calling 325-653-7785.

The Casey Donahew Band will be featured at the dance Saturday night, and opening will be local favorite Case Hardin. The dance will be held in the New Livestock Barn located immediately south of the Wells Fargo Pavilion. Dance tickets are $25 per person.

The San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo Association (SASSRA) is excited to announce that the 61st Annual Cinch Roping Fiesta preliminary and invitational tie-down ropings held on this Friday & Saturday will be used as qualifying events for RFD-TV’s “THE AMERICAN,” held on March 1, 2015 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX.
THE AMERICAN is the world’s richest one-day rodeo where contestants from all seven traditional rodeo events will compete for $2,000,000 in prize money.
