FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — Four Fort Worth firefighters are among five people hurt in a traffic wreck.

Battalion Chief Richard Harrison says the firefighters already had responded to a crash early Monday morning on Interstate 35W when a truck collided with a police car at the scene.

The police car then struck the fire truck.

Three firefighters reporting neck and back pain were taken to a hospital. Their injuries are not considered serious. Another firefighter and the driver of the truck have been treated at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
