TYLER, Texas (AP) — Police say a man was shot in the arm after confronting three people who were in the process of burglarizing his vehicle in the parking lot of an East Texas restaurant.

Tyler police say all three suspects in the Monday night shooting have been arrested.

Police say the victim had been eating at a restaurant when he heard his vehicle's alarm. When he went to see what was happening, he confronted three people in the process of burglarizing his vehicle.

Police say the suspects fled and as they drove away, one of the passengers shot at the victim three times, hitting him once.

The suspects' vehicle was later stopped by Kilgore police. Stolen property from the victim's vehicle was located inside the suspects' vehicle.
